Firstly, today's cards are jumpers, which
refer to cards that jump out the deck while shuffling the cards. I find jumpers to be of utter importance as they highlight what I truly need be aware of, needless to say I am not
going ahead with the reading I had planned to do earlier this morning, but
rather focus on these two jumpers. Already I contemplate on two, and the
significance of Two. Conflict, joint, parts of one, unison, or in the case of these two
cards, the connection.
One can only see progress if you can measure it from the starting point to the current point.

First off, the mere term 'death' has a
powerful energy throughout any walk of life, we always feel surge of so many
different feelings when death knocks at the door. Now, using that energy one can find the truth as to how to
channel that feeling combined with all the emotional energy that overwhelms you
so.
Death is actually transformation; the end
of one cycle is the beginning of another, as is found in all Holy writings of
Eternal Life.
"God blessed
the sea-monsters, creepers, and fowl"
Death is found on the path of Nun,
linking Netzach (Victory/Have awareness of your feelings, accepting them for
what they are) to Tiphareth (Beauty/be true to inner self, having faith and
confidence in Self).
Death can thus be interpreted as a yearning
for completion and perfection, needing the energy of Netzach to drive you in order to reach your goal, whereby Tiphareth gains force in order to
replenish Netzach. In order to
achieve this, one can only reunite with the various energies within yourself;
recognize them, thereby seeing your true self within your Self. Identify the various emotions honestly
and powerfully, shedding what is of no constructive use and focussing on where
growth is needed.
The Page of Wands is a delightful card, the
Page is representing the new growth, new endeavor, or new venture based on the
Wands representing creativity, enthusiasm, and pure energy.

| Moses holding his staff at the Battle of Rephidim in the painting Victory O Lord! by J.E. Millais 'According to the Book of Exodus in the Bible, the staff used by Moses (called a rod in the King James Bible) was by his side throughout important milestones in the narrative. Amongst these milestone events or "miracles of the exodus", the Bible describes that the staff was used to produce water from a rock, was transformed into a snake and back, and was used at the parting of the Red Sea.[1] Whether or not Moses' staff was the same as that used by his brother Aaron (known as Aaron's rod) has been debated by rabbinical scholars.' To understand the relationship of the
cards, simply look to find what is outstanding between them.
Both Death and the Page are looking toward
the future; both are standing in the same stance. Thereby ascertaining that there is an agreement of
positioning and footing that has brought us to this point. Being the first of the two cards, I set
DeathXIII to the left of Page, he is now indicating that which is in the
past/present. Although he is in
the same stance as the Page, it is noticeable that death (past) is buckling over,
he seems more adamant to get to the future, as he appears clamoring toward
it. Whereas the Page, representing
the present/future is comfortable in his environment, standing erect and tall,
and confident with his wand of creativity. Death walks amid blue and yellow growth, whereas the growth
seen at the Page's feet have transformed into green growth, indicating the
growth potential in today's jumpers.
The significance of this can be seen in their forearms, signifying their
task, emphasizing how the tasks and actions are to bear growth, having gone
through extreme transformations.
