The joy of receiving wonderful feedback.

Since a ridiculously young age I have been intrigued by the Tarot, the Bible and Theology of a whole. When at first I started to study the Tarot, I was simply enthralled by how it links to the Bible, the Kaballah, astrology and basically every realm conceivable!   Since reading for a profession, I must admit that the Tarot never fails to amaze me.  With much prayer, meditation and focus before each reading the cards reveal precisely what is needed to grant the querent the peace of mind to breath again. No, I am not a fortune teller, but rather just an instrument here to help you find clarity regarding the underlying issues pertaining to your specific circumstances.
Here is Saturday's feedback on a reading. As you can well imagine, all my readings are strictly confidential, and special permission was granted to publish the feedback regarding this reading.

Question:
I am facing some changes at my work - my current position will end and I am thinking of opportunities at the same place, but as an instructor. What do I need to do or be aware of so that I can make this happen?

Feedback I  received from Querent:
Sancheo,

Your reading for me is so detailed and well-thought out! In my feedback, I have kept the parts that you wrote that really resonated with me.

The wall seen behind the children, I too see as a foundation of a great career in which to teach and build, correlating with that found in Yesod.

These deductions reflect well on your current situation pertaining to your choice to work as an instructor, passing your energies actively (masculine), as our Sun card, yet also indicates the balance within yourself, and emphasizes your ability to do so.
I like the connection between Yesod & Hod - reflection & intellect. Teaching really does seem to fit with that connection, doesn't it! On another note, the Sun also indicates to me that I am finally at ease about teaching. A few years ago, I swore that I would NOT teach. I didn't want to do it. Now I do.

Position 2 represents what not to worry about at this stage:
I drew the Page of Pentacles for position 2.
I feel that your concern regarding the transition into your new post as Instructor may be a financial quandary, as the Page is indicating a new start and the pentacles are indicating finances. The mere fact that the card is in an upright position, and the position of the card represents 'what not to worry about' indicates that finances should not be a concern at this point. On the contrary, the Page holds a pentacle in his right hand (active/masculine), there is another pentacle at his right foot, which one may interpret as X-ray vision into the hillside and seeing a planted pentacle (an action that has begun), thereby realizing that from his one planted pentacle there is already growth. Three plants are sprouting at the feet of the Page, which are indicating growth, as are there three hills behind him, which could be indicating that you have passed the major upheavals on your journey to get to this point of transition. I do also see the significance of three3 as a blessing your journey, as three is something materialized, a product of you and your foundations.
It is a concern. At this point I make enough that coupled with my husband's salary we are able to live comfortably. Not extravagantly, but comfortable. In the past, we have had very little and have worked very hard to get to a point where we do not constantly worry about how we can buy groceries and pay the bills. I have some concerns that working as a part time instructor will result in a significantly reduced salary for me.

But I can see the point of not being fixated on that aspect. It really isn't as important to the situation. I can get other work if the contract ends and they do not offer me a position teaching.

Position 3 represents the most important card of the spread, indicating which action to take, and that that could have been overlooked:

The Knight of cups is seen with his right hand (masculine/active) extended to the West, which translates to the passions of your past that are guiding you. You have built an incredible realm of knowledge and experience (foundations). The Knight of Cups signifies the action of delivering your passions to others, in this case, the students you are wishing to teach, after all, it is also the role of the Knight to 'protect and serve'.
I have worked very hard to create curriculum that is effective. And now I want to teach it. Very good connection between Page and Knight - I have created something that I love and now I want to put it in action.

Position 4 is representing the situation if the action suggested by card 3 is taken:
I have drawn the VII of Swords, and as it is the only pip in the reading, I find that it is enlightening, but not to be taken too seriously.

Swords represent our thoughts and intellect, and as they relate to the court cards of Knight, I can well see how this card interlinks with our previous Knight in position 3.

Netzach represents endurance, permanence, and completion, but what is important to note is that Netzach can only truly be intuitively and emotionally understood, which in this case could be saying to you that you may need to follow your instincts, and not your mind in order to make this change, 'trust your instincts.' This card could then shedding light to your concerns found in position 2, the Page of Pentacles, but bear in mind that with all great growth, comes an element of sacrifice.
This is a good description of the 7 swords. I do need to take the leap and test my committment to teaching. And to do this, I will have to take a salary reduction (at least at first). I want to do this, but I know that it will pay less money. The 7 Swords is telling me to that I have to "talk the talk and walk the walk," and if that means taking less money to do what I love, then so be it.
